Come check out the DD-7 delay pedal at YAMS!

The Next Step in Compact Delay

Even with the best-selling delays in compact-pedal history, BOSS continues to push the envelope and innovate. The new DD-7 takes the best features from its predecessors and expands the creative potential with Modulation Delay mode, classic modeled Analog Delay mode, External pedal control options, longer delay time, and more.

    • Expanded delay time, up to 6.4 seconds
    • Modulation Delay mode offers natural, chorus-type sounds
    • Analog Delay mode models the classic warm BOSS DM-2 analog delay sound
    • Tap tempo controllable via external footswitch
    • Delay time, feedback, and effect level can be controlled via external Expression pedal (sold separately)
    • Up to 40 seconds of recording for sound on sound (Hold mode)

The Next Step in Compact Delay

    Expanded Delay Time
Up to 6.4 seconds of delay time is available with the DD-7, a marked increase from its predecessor. In addition, Hold mode allows up to 40 seconds of input to be recorded for creating “sound on sound” performances.

    New Delay Modes
The DD-7 is equipped with two innovative new delay modes. Modulation Delay provides chorus-flavored sounds. Analog Delay offers a modeled simulation of the classic BOSS DM-2, beloved for its characteristic warmth.

    External Control
For hands-free control of the DD-7, an external footswitch and Expression pedal (sold separately) can be used. Tap tempo can be controlled from an external footswitch, while delay time, feedback, and effect level can be changed on the fly via Expression pedal.

    Stereo Output
Create amazing effects with the DD-7’s stereo output, such as spatial audio sweeps via true stereo panning. You can also use the stereo outputs to create separate dry and wet signal paths — handy for recording and live-performance control.

    DP-8, DP-2 pedals

These might be more useful than you think! The DP-8 is a great quality pedal that is a LOT nicer to use as a damper pedal with your keyboard than the cheaper style pedals. The “half-pedaling” feature is nice, and can really add to the expressiveness of your music when used correctly, and with a sound setup to use it.

The DP-2 is great for use with punching in with some of the recording gear, or for use as a switch for additional controls – you can use it to turn your leslie effect on and off, for example.

The Roland DP-8 Damper Pedal is the perfect choice for keyboard players who want the most realistic pedal action, thanks to new half-pedal support. When used with compatible instruments, this function allows the sustain length to be varied depending on how deep the pedal is pressed. The versatile DP-8 can also be used a simple pedal switch.

    • High-quality damper pedal with expressive half-pedal capabilities
    • Allows players to vary the sustain depending on position of pedal
    • Can also be used as a 2-position pedal switch (On, Off)
    • Half-pedal function compatible with Roland RD-600/700, FP-9/3, F-90, KF-90, XV-88 and Fantom-Series workstations

Momentary footswitch for “non-latch” footswitch operations such as sustaining notes on electronic keyboards. The DP-2 can also be used for things like punch in/out on Roland/BOSS recording gear.
